''The Pleasure of My Company'' is a 2003 novel by Steve Martin, which tells the story of the life of Daniel Pecan Cambridge, an introverted young man with obsessive-compulsive disorder. The novel revolves around Daniel, his obsessions, and his interactions with the world around his home in Santa Monica, California. Characters Daniel Pecan Cambridge is the book's protagonist. Stephen Glenn Martin (born August 14, 1945) is an American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and musician.
