The Pineville Heist
''The Pineville Heist'' is a 2016 Canadian action film, directed and co-written by Lee Chambers and Todd Gordon. The film is based on the 2011 screenplay by Chambers and Gordon. Plot A teenager witnesses the aftermath of a bank heist when he witnesses the murder of one of the robbers. In the chaos, he gets away with their loot and hides with his drama teacher in the high school as one of the robbers tracks him. Lee Chambers
Lee Chambers (born 4 February 1970) is a British-Canadian writer, film director, and producer. In 2012 he won the Best Screenwriter award from Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards for his Australian short film, ''Hugh Jackman Saves the World''. Early life Born and raised in Canada, Chambers holds credentials in graphic design, advertising and education. As a British dual citizen, he also graduated from the Northern Film School at Leeds Beckett University in the UK. Career Chambers has worked on numerous British sitcoms, including BBC's The League of Gentlemen, as well as major motion pictures in the UK and Australia + comedies for the CBC in Canada. Basil Hoffman
Basil Harry Hoffman (January 18, 1938 – September 17, 2021) was an American actor with a film and television career spanning five decades, mostly in supporting roles. He starred in films with many award-winning directors, including Alan Pakula and Robert Redford. He also authored two books about acting, including ''Acting and How to Be Good at It''. Early years Hoffman was born in Houston, Texas in January 1938, the son of Beulah (née Novoselsky) and David Hoffman, an antique dealer. He graduated from Tulane University; and he spent two years at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, receiving a scholarship for the second, graduating year.
