The People's Quiz
''The People's Quiz'' is a BBC National Lottery game show broadcast on BBC One from 24 March to 23 June 2007, hosted by Jamie Theakston. Auditions Auditions were held throughout January 2007 all around the UK. The quiz was open to nearly everyone, in that the only excluded categories were: *BBC Employees *Under 16's *Those with a criminal conviction in the last seven years *Bankrupts or people with a County Court Judgement in the last five years Round 1 The first round of the audition consisted of contestants turning up at six major venues in the UK: Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester, Belfast and London. Contenders had to get ten questions in a row correct to progress to the second round. A game show is a genre of broadcast viewing entertainment (radio, television, internet, stage or other) where contestants compete for a reward. These programs can either be participatory or Let's Play, demonstrative and are typically directed by a game show host, host, sharing the rules of the program as well as commentating and narrating where necessary. Mastermind (TV Series)
''Mastermind'' is a British television quiz show for the BBC, currently presented by Clive Myrie. Its creator, Bill Wright, drew inspiration from his experiences of being interrogated by the Gestapo during World War II. The show features an intimidating setting and challenging questions. Four (and in later contests five or six) contestants face two rounds, one on a specialised subject of the contestant's choice, the other a general knowledge round. ''Mastermind''s theme music is "Approaching Menace" by the British composer Neil Richardson. The show was recorded, with original presenter Magnus Magnusson, on location at UK universities. Later, it was recorded in Manchester at studios such as New Broadcasting House and Granada Studios, before moving to dock10 studios in 2011. The show relocated to Belfast for the 2019–2020 series. Mareva Galanter
Mareva Galanter (born 4 February 1979) is a French singer, actress and former beauty queen. Galanter won the 1998 "Miss World Islands" and then the 1998 "Miss Tahiti" beauty contest that allowed her to compete for the Miss France 1999 crown, which she won. She also competed in Miss Universe 1999, in which she did not place. Career Galanter was born in Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia. She started early in modeling. She was not 16 that she was already doing photoshoots in French Polynesia (with Dominique Petras in Bora Bora, for instance). She kept modeling in Europe, where she headed for the "Miss France" Contest. She also modeled for her partner Jean Charles de Castelbajac, designer of his own brand, living in Paris. Jean-Pierre Foucault (; born 23 November 1947 in Marseille) is a French television and radio host. He was born in Marseille, his mother was Jewish. He was the host of '' Qui Veut Gagner des Millions ?'', the French version of ''Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?'', and the host of ''Zone Rouge'', the French version of '' The Chair''. The Saudi riyal ( ar, ريال سعودي ') is the currency of Saudi Arabia. It is abbreviated as or SAR ''(Saudi Arabian Riyal)''. It is subdivided into 100 halalas ( ar, هللة '). The currency is pegged to the US dollar at a constant rate of exchange. Mona Ali Mohamed Zaki ( ar, منى علي محمد زكي; born 18 November 1976) is an Egyptian actress. Biography Mona Zaki was born to her parents Ali Mohamed Zaki and Tahani on November 18, 1976. George Kordahi ( ar, جورج قرداحي; born 1 May 1950) is a Lebanese Television presenter, TV presenter and former host of the Arabic version of ''Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?''. Education Kordahi was educated at the Notre Dame University – Louaize, Notre Dame de Louayzeh College (Keserwan District, Keserwan). He studied Political Science and Law in Lebanon. MBC 1 is a free-to-air pan-Arab general television channel. BBC2
