Ohio Community Media was an American privately owned publisher of daily and weekly newspapers, primarily in the state of Ohio. It was headquartered in the Dayton suburb of Miamisburg, Ohio, and was owned by Philadelphia-based Versa Capital Management. The ''Sedalia Democrat'' is an American daily newspaper published in Sedalia, Missouri. It was founded in 1868 as the ''Democratic Press'', a weekly newspaper. It became the ''Sedalia Democrat'' soon after. It began its daily edition, originally called the ''Daily Democrat'', December 19, 1871 until 1873. It was also published as the ''Sedalia Weekly Democrat'' from 1872 and the ''Sedalia Evening Democrat'' from 1891 until 1906. A pennysaver (or free ads paper, Friday Ad or shopper) is a free community periodical available in North America (typically weekly or monthly publications) that advertises items for sale. Freedom Communications, Inc., was an American media conglomerate that operated daily and weekly newspapers, websites and mobile applications, as well as ''Coast Magazine'' and other specialty publications.
