Gyula Mészáros (director)
Gyula Mészáros ( hu, Mészáros Gyula; 1883 – 1957) was a Hungarian ethnographer, Orientalist and Turkologist. Later in his career he became involved in a money counterfeiting scheme. Money counterfeiting In 1921, a group of Hungarian nationalists led by Mészáros set up a press in the town of Metzelsdorf outside Graz, Austria. The group managed to produce and put into circulation 60,000 500-Czechoslovak koruna banknotes, with the intent of damaging the Czechoslovak economy. Most of the forgers were arrested in July 1921, by that time the Czechoslovak government was forced to pull the entire sokol note series out of circulation, undermining the credibility of its currency reforms. Mészáros' case was dismissed by an Austrian court without going to trial, as there were no provisions to punish forgers who did not operate for personal gain. István Bujtor
István Bujtor (5 May 1942 – 25 September 2009), born István Frenreisz, was a Hungarian actor, director, producer and screenplay writer. He starred in the TV mini-series Mathias Sandorf based on the novel Mathias Sandorf by Jules Verne as ''Mathias Sandorf'' in 1979. Biography Bujtor started his acting career in 1964, and played in more than a hundred Hungarian films. He won the Béla Balázs Award in 1979. In the early 1980s he became known as the Hungarian voice of Bud Spencer. Based on his real life similarity with Spencer, later a series of Hungarian comedies were created in the Bud Spencer-Terence Hill genre, in which Bujtor played hard-hitting detective ''Csöpi Ötvös'' partnered with fellow Hungarian actor András Kern. András Kern (born 28 January 1948 in Budapest) is a Hungarian actor, producer, writer, singer and comedian. Life In 1965 Kern produced a film with a friend, entitled ''Mi Lesz?'' (What will happen?), and subsequently won first prize in the 13th Hungarian National Amateur Film Festival. In 1970 he graduated from the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest. Ferenc Zenthe (born Ferenc Rameshofer; 20 April 1920 – 30 July 2006) was a Hungarian actor, honored with being chosen as an Actor of the Nation, the Kossuth Prize and the Meritorious Artist Award of Hungary. Best known from the historical series '' A Tenkes Kapitánya'' and pioneering soap opera ''Szomszédok'', he was regarded as one of the great talents of his generation. Life and career Ferenc Zenthe was born on 20 April 1920 in Salgóbánya (now part of Salgótarján) as the only son of a 50-year-old mining engineer.
