Battlestar (comics)
Battlestar (Lemar Hoskins) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Mark Gruenwald and Paul Neary, the character made his first appearance in ''Captain America'' #323 (1986). He became the fifth character to assume the alias Bucky before taking on the name "Battlestar." Clé Bennett portrayed the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series ''The Falcon and the Winter Soldier'' (2021). ''Avengers Academy'' is a Marvel Comics comic book series that debuted in June 2010 as part of the " Heroic Age", and concluded after thirty-nine issues in November 2012. The series was written by Christos Gage, with artwork by Mike McKone and tells the story of a group of young super-powered persons who were selected to join a training academy for the super-hero team, the Avengers. Publication history Marvel first announced the launch of ''Avengers Academy'' by the creative team of Christos Gage and Mike McKone in March 2010 by releasing a set of teaser images featuring students from the title. The first student to be revealed was Veil followed by Striker, Reptil, Mettle (under the name Fortress), Finesse and Hazmat. Deathlok
Deathlok (also referred to as Deathlok the Demolisher) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He first appeared in ''Astonishing Tales'' #25 (Aug. 1974), created by Rich Buckler. At least three subsequent Marvel characters have used the "Deathlok" identity since then. A recurring theme among these characters is that a dead human has been reanimated with cybernetic technology. "Deathlok technology" has also been used thematically by Marvel writers in other stories. Crippler is a mercenary who was once a member of Hydra (Marvel Comics), HYDRA, but later quit to become a vigilante and later member of Silver Sable's Wild Pack. Fictional character biography Carl Stricklan was once a U.S. Marine, but was dishonorably discharged. He became a New York police officer, but was dismissed for excessive brutality.
