The Oohlas
The Oohlas are an American rock band from Los Angeles, California formed in 2004. History The Oohlas consist of Olivia Stone (vocals/guitar), Mark Eklund (bass/vocals), Australian, Hayden Scott (drums) and Greg Eklund (vocals/guitar). Stone moved to Los Angeles from Phoenix and met Mark, who was working for Stone's aunt. Mark introduced her to his brother Greg, who had recently left Everclear. Wasting little time, they practiced in Greg's studio and were playing in the Los Angeles area. The band released an LP entitled ''Best Stop Pop'' on September 26, 2006, on Stolen Transmission, a subsidiary of Island Def Jam. In May 2007, they signed to Island Records. They released an EP entitled ''Chinchilla'' in early 2009 are on their own and are not currently signed to any record label. Giant Drag is an American indie rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2003 by singer and guitarist Annie Hardy and drummer and keyboardist Micah Calabrese. After releasing their debut EP, '' Lemona'' in 2004, the band released their debut studio album, '' Hearts and Unicorns'' (2005) through Kickball Records, a subsidiary of Interscope. Interscope dropped the band from their label after issuing their single, "This Isn't It", in 2006, and Calabrese subsequently left the project. Hardy continued to record material for the band, and their second album, '' Waking Up is Hard to Do'', was self-released in 2013 through their own label, Full Psycho Records. Men, Women & Children (band)
Men, Women & Children (formerly known as Easy Tiger, Torpedo) was an electropop band formed in 2004 by ex-Glassjaw guitarist Todd Weinstock and TJ Penzone. They released their self-titled debut album in 2006. Penzone initially wanted the band to be named Easy Tiger, but had to rename the band after a band in Chicago by the same name refused to sell him the rights. They have supported acts such as Metric, Gang of Four, Rx Bandits, De La Soul, Brand New, The Format, Snoop Dogg, Head Automatica and ¡Forward, Russia!. They also headlined their own shows with supporting acts like We Are The Fury. The Duke Spirit
The Duke Spirit are an English rock band based in London. Their sound has been seen as a melding of influences ranging from alternative rock bands such as The Jesus and Mary Chain and Spiritualized, the tremulous rock'n'roll of bands such as The Gun Club and The Patti Smith Group, to distinctive rhythmic Atlantic soul and Motown influences. Carina Round (born 20 April 1979) is a British singer-songwriter from Wolverhampton in the West Midlands of England. Career In the summer of 1996, following a gig in a basement acoustic club in Wolverhampton, Round was given a three-night support at Ronnie Scott's club in Birmingham. This led to support slots with the likes of David Gray, Miles Hunt, Ben Christophers, Mark Eitzel, Cousteau, Elbow, I am Kloot, Turin Brakes, Ed Harcourt and Ryan Adams, who after she supported him in Birmingham, invited her to be his guest at his London shows. Burning Brides were an American hard rock band. They were partially known for their live performances, such as selected dates as the opening band for The White Stripes in 2000. The Raveonettes
The Raveonettes are a Danish indie rock duo, consisting of Sune Rose Wagner on guitar, instruments and vocals, and Sharin Foo on bass, guitar and vocals.
