The Oath (Singaporean TV Series)
''The Oath'' (行医) is a medical drama produced by Wawa Pictures. It stars Christopher Lee, Jesseca Liu, Ix Shen, Ann Kok, Zhang Zhenhuan & Kate Pang as casts of the series. The drama follows a Chinese physician and a Western doctor on a complex medical case. The series premiered in Singapore on 25 October 2011, on Mediacorp Channel 8. This drama is the first Wawa Pictures drama to be broadcast on Channel 8. The series is available for streaming on Netflix. Synopsis Two doctors with opposite approaches to treating patients clash on the job and must learn to trust each other's expertise, allowing love to bloom. Christopher Lee (Singaporean Actor)
Christopher Lee Meng Soon (; born 23 July 1971) is a Malaysian actor, host and singer based in Singapore. Early life Lee studied up to form 5 in Sekolah Menengah Seri Kota, Air Leleh, Malacca, Malaysia. Star Awards 2012 (Chinese: 红星大奖 2012) was a double television award ceremony held in Singapore. It is part of the annual Star Awards organised by MediaCorp for the two free-to-air channels, MediaCorp Channel 8 and MediaCorp Channel U. ''Star Awards 2012'' was live broadcast on Channel 8, on 22 and 29 April 2012, and the Post-Show party on Channel U after the broadcast of the second award ceremony. Yvonne Lim (, born 28 September 1976) is a Singaporean actress. Early life and education Lim was born to Hokkien-speaking family. She studied at CHIJ St Theresa's Convent and graduated with a Diploma in Electronic, Computer & Communication Engineering (DECC) at Singapore Polytechnic in 1996. In an interview with SP's alumni magazine, she stated that she was a "shy girl" who rarely took part in extracurricular activities. Astro Shuang Xing () is a 24-hour Mandarin youth entertainment TV channel owned and run by pay TV provider, Astro. The channel provides variety entertainment that target for younger generation.
