''The Haven'' is a 1909 novel by the British writer Eden Phillpotts. Whereas the author's previous breakthrough novel ''Lying Prophets'' had been set in Cornwall, ''The Haven'' is set in the fishing community of Brixham in Devon. Caleb Porter (born February 18, 1975) is an American soccer coach who is the manager of Major League Soccer club New England Revolution. He was previously head coach of the Portland Timbers from 2013 until 2017. He won MLS Cup in 2015 with Portland and 2020 with Columbus. In addition to MLS, he coached the United States U-23 team in 2011–12, and the University of Akron men's team from 2006 to 2012, winning the NCAA title in 2010. Eden Phillpotts (4 November 1862 – 29 December 1960) was an English author, poet and dramatist. He was born in Mount Abu, India, was educated in Plymouth, Devon, and worked as an insurance officer for ten years before studying for the stage and eventually becoming a writer. Life Eden Phillpotts was a great-nephew of Henry Phillpotts, Bishop of Exeter. His father Henry Phillpotts was a son of the bishop's younger brother Thomas Phillpotts.
