The National Lottery Live
''The National Lottery Results'' (previously ''The National Lottery Live'', ''The National Lottery Draw'', ''The National Lottery Stars'' and ''The National Lottery Draws'') is the television programme that broadcasts the drawing of the National Lottery in the United Kingdom. History The programme launched on 19 November 1994 on BBC One, and was initially broadcast live on Saturday nights, before expanding to Wednesday nights in 1997 and Friday nights in 2008. From January 2013 to December 2016, the programme aired only on Saturday nights. Since January 2017, the live draws are no longer broadcast on television and are available to watch online at the National Lottery website and YouTube. Since April 2018, a new show called ''The National Lottery Lotto Results'' has aired on ITV on Wednesday and Saturday nights during commercial breaks. Alan Dedicoat
Alan Dedicoat (born 1 December 1954) is an English announcer for programmes on BBC One. He is known as the "Voice of the Balls" on the National Lottery (United Kingdom), National Lottery The National Lottery Draws, programmes, providing a voiceover for the draws since 1995. He was a BBC Radio 2 newsreader until his retirement from this role in March 2015. Gordon Kennedy (actor)
Gordon Gilbert Kennedy (born 22 February 1958) is a Scottish actor, presenter and narrator. He starred in the Channel 4 sketch show '' Absolutely'', and appeared in BBC drama series ''Robin Hood'' and '' Red Cap''. Biography Kennedy grew up in Tranent, East Lothian, and attended George Watson's College in Edinburgh. Sonali Shah (born 26 July 1980 in Edgware, London) is a British TV and Radio Broadcaster who currently presents Sunday Breakfast on Magic FM as well as BBC television programme ''Escape to the Country'', ITV's Tonight and has her own segment on Channel 4's Steph's Packed Lunch. Dale Jonathan Winton (22 May 1955 – 18 April 2018) was an English radio DJ and television presenter.
