''The Nagano Tapes: Rewound, Replayed & Reviewed'' (Czech television title: ) is a 2018 documentary film, directed by Ondřej Hudeček and written by Hudeček and Jon Weinbach. The film shows how the Czech Republic won the gold medal in the ice hockey tournament of the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. It is the first in the ''Five Rings'' series of films made for the Olympic Channel. Content The film covers the Czech team at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, including the background and the games they played in during their run to the gold. It is divided into chapters ("tapes", with intertitles designed to look like a labeled video cassette) based on major events or games. Wayne Douglas Gretzky ( ; born January 26, 1961) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and former head coach. He played 20 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for four teams from 1979 to 1999. A Cruel Angel's Thesis
, also known as "A Cruel Angel's Thesis", is a J-pop song performed by Japanese singer Yoko Takahashi. Toshiyuki Ōmori and Hidetoshi Satō composed the song, while Neko Oikawa wrote the lyrics.
