The Molesworth Gallery
The Molesworth Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Dublin. It is one of Ireland's leading contemporary art galleries, representing some of the most acclaimed artists working in the country today. It hosts eight solo and two curated group exhibitions annually at its gallery space in Dublin's city centre. Exhibitions are documented in gallery publications ranging from brochures to hardback books. It also collaborates with arts centres and museums to maximise public access to the work of its artists, as well as promoting them at international art fairs. The gallery covers the ground and first floors of a large Georgian house. Molesworth Street () is a street in Dublin, Ireland named after Richard Molesworth, 3rd Viscount Molesworth and links the more notable Dawson Street with Kildare Street and lies just over 200 m to the north of St. Stephens Green in Dublin's central business district. Shane Berkery
Shane Keisuke Berkery (born 9 April 1992) is an Irish-Japanese contemporary artist based in Dublin, Ireland. His cultural background has been a major influence on his work and is a frequent theme in his paintings. Berkery primarily works out of his studio in Dublin. Life and career Berkery experienced controversy in 2015 when he submitted a nude of the college director for the graduation exhibition at National College of Art and Design in protest of how the college was being run. The painting was later withdrawn. In 2013, singer Sinead O' Connor commissioned Berkery to paint a mural of Hindu god Vishnu in her home in Bray, Ireland. O' Connor originally planned to use Berkery's image for the cover of her album in summer 2014, titled ''The Vishnu Room'' but the album was later retitled, without reference to Vishnu. Vera Klute
Vera Klute ARHA (born 1981) is a German multi-disciplinary artist based in Dublin, Ireland. Life Vera Klute was born in 1981 in Salzkotten, Germany. Klute moved to Ireland to attend Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, graduating in 2006. She works in a variety of media, from portraiture to sculpture. Klute has had a number of solo exhibitions: Wexford Arts Centre (2009), Butler Gallery (2011), QSS Gallery (2014), the LAB and Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA) Ashford (2014), and The Molesworth Gallery (2016). She had her first major solo show at the RHA in 2017. Klute's portrait of Sr Stanislaus Kennedy was added to the National Portrait Collection in the National Gallery of Ireland (NGI) in 2014. Royal Hibernian Academy
The Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA) is an artist-based and artist-oriented institution in Ireland, founded in Dublin in 1823. Like many other Irish institutions, such as the RIA, the academy retained the word "Royal" after most of Ireland became independent as the Irish Free State in December 1922.
