The Mighty Boosh (1998 Stage Show)
''The Mighty Boosh'' was a 1998 stage show written and performed by Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt, along with Rich Fulcher. It was one of the first incarnations of what eventually became ''The Mighty Boosh''. Overview Fielding and Barratt first conceived of ''The Mighty Boosh'' whilst working on Stewart Lee's Edinburgh show, ''King Dong vs. Moby Dick'', in which they played a giant penis and a whale respectively. In 1998, Barratt and Fielding debuted ''The Mighty Boosh'' at the Oranje Boom Boom comedy club at De Hems pub in London's Chinatown. Noel Fielding
Noel Fielding (; (born 21 May 1973) is an English actor and comedian. He is best known for his work with The Mighty Boosh comedy troupe alongside Julian Barratt in the 2000s, and more recently as a co-presenter of ''The Great British Bake Off'' since 2017. He is known for his dark and surreal comedic style. In the 1990s, Fielding began performing stand-up comedy and met Barratt on the comedy circuit. Together, they produced a 2001 radio series called '' The Boosh'' for BBC Radio London. This was followed by the television show ''The Mighty Boosh'', which ran for three series on BBC Three from 2004 to 2007. The show generated a cult following and won a variety of awards. Julian Barratt
Julian Barratt Pettifer (born 4 May 1968) is an English comedian, actor and musician. As a comedian and comic actor, he is known for his use of surreal humour and black comedy. During the 2000s he was part of The Mighty Boosh comedy troupe alongside comedy partner Noel Fielding. Born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, Barratt was educated at the University of Reading. With Fielding, he established the Mighty Boosh. Together, they produced a 2001 radio series, '' The Boosh'', for BBC Radio London. Rich Fulcher
Richard Fulcher (born November 18, 1968) is an American comedian, actor and author. He played Bob Fossil and other characters in the British comedy series ''The Mighty Boosh'', and Edward Sheath in the American series '' Jon Benjamin Has a Van''. He has also appeared in Noel Fielding's more recent show, ''Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy''. The Mighty Boosh
The Mighty Boosh is a British comedy troupe featuring comedians Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding. Developed from three stage shows and a six-episode radio series, it has since spanned a total of 20 television episodes for BBC Three which aired from 2004 to 2007, and two live tours of the UK, as well as two live shows in the United States. The human penis is an external male intromittent organ that additionally serves as the urinary duct. Whale
Whales are a widely distributed and diverse group of fully aquatic placental marine mammals. De Hems
De Hems is a café, pub and oyster-house in the Chinatown area of London just off Shaftesbury Avenue. It made its name purveying oysters and now sells beers from the Low countries such as Grolsch and Heineken with Dutch food such as bitterballen and frikandellen. It is on the site of the Horse & Dolphin coaching inn which was built in 1685 and had been owned by bare-knuckle boxer Bill 'The Black Terror' Richmond in the early 19th century. This was rebuilt in 1890 by the accomplished pub architects, Saville and Martin, for the publican, Mr Crimmen.
