The Mick Molloy Show
''The Mick Molloy Show'' was a television program that appeared on the Nine Network in Australia for just eight weeks during 1999. The host, Mick Molloy, was a widely acclaimed comedian from ''The Late Show'' and ''Martin/Molloy''. The program's running time (less commercial breaks) was approximately 1 hour 50 minutes. The show essentially took a laidback, easygoing chat variety format, with a set comprising a couple of couches, a coffee table and resident band. Mach Pelican
Mach Pelican were a punk rock band of Japanese origin formed in Perth, Australia in 1996. In 1998, they relocated to Melbourne, Australia. They announced their farewell tour in July 2007, and played their final show in Tokyo, Japan on 17 September 2007. Biography The band was formed by three Japanese students who were studying English in Perth in 1996. After touring extensively, Mach Pelican moved to Melbourne in 1998. The Fauves are an Australian rock band formed in 1988. The band are known for their witty lyrics, melodic pop-rock and often satirical or evocative exploration of Australian themes. Ben Folds Five is an American alternative rock trio formed in 1993 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The group comprises Ben Folds (lead vocals, piano), Robert Sledge (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Darren Jessee (drums, backing vocals).
