The Massive (comics)
''The Massive'' was an ongoing, monthly comic book series created by Brian Wood and published by Dark Horse Comics. Dave Stewart's work as a colorist in the first nine issues of the series earned him the Eisner Award for Best Coloring in 2013. Publication history ''The Massive'' was originally launched in the pages of Dark Horse's comics anthology, ''Dark Horse Presents ''Dark Horse Presents'' was a comic book published by American company Dark Horse Comics from 1986. Their first published series, it was their flagship title until its September 2000 cancellation. The second incarnation was published on MySpace, r ...'' in the form of three eight-page short stories in issues 8–10. Gary Erskine
Gary Erskine is a Scottish comic book artist. Career Born in Paisley near Glasgow in 1968, Erskine grew up in Rutherglen and attended Burnside Primary and Stonelaw High School. Fellow comic artist Frank Quitely (Vincent Deighan) is the same age and from the same town, but they attended different schools and did not work together in their youth. He started drawing work for fanzines while at art college and aspired to be a comic book artist. After sending samples of his work to Marvel UK he was eventually given ''Knights of Pendragon'' to draw on a regular basis in 1988. Declan Shalvey
Declan Shalvey is an Irish comics artist and writer. He has worked for Marvel Comics, drawing titles like ''Moon Knight'', ''Thunderbolts'' and ''Deadpool''. For Image Comics, he has collaborated with writer Warren Ellis on science fiction series '' Injection'', and written crime comics set in Ireland, including ''Savage Town'', with artist Philip Barrett, and ''Bog Bodies'', with artist Gavin Fullerton.
