George Magrill
George Magrill (January 5, 1900 – May 31, 1952) was an American film actor who appeared in more than 320 films between 1923 and 1952. Magrill performed on stage before he began to work in films. Besides his acting, Magrill worked as a stunt man in films. He also served in the Navy and became a lightweight boxing champion in that service branch. Magrill was born in Brooklyn, New York, was married to Ramona Oliver, and had a daughter named Marilynn. On May 31, 1952, Magrill died in Los Angeles, California. Dot Farley
Dorothea "Dot" Farley (February 6, 1881 – May 2, 1971) was an American film actress who appeared in 280 motion pictures between 1910 and 1950. She was also known as Dorothy Farley. Biography Born in Chicago, Illinois, Dorothea Farley was the daughter of Eugene Farley and actress Alma Streeter. Her nickname originated when she sang and danced on stage billed as "Chicago's Little Dot" when she was three years old. Farley gained acting experience by working for six years in stock theater and made her film debut in 1910. Mainly known for her roles in short comedies, prolific with Mack Sennett in the silent days, she also appeared in Western films in the early 1910s. She was later notable as the mother-in-law of Edgar Kennedy in most of his series of short films at the RKO studios. Farley was also a writer, with 260 of her stories having been produced by 1924. Dick Sutherland (born Archibald Thomas Johnson, December 23, 1881 – February 3, 1934) was an American film actor, active mostly during the silent film era. Born in Benton, Kentucky, in 1881, Sutherland appeared in more than 70 films between 1921 and 1932. Sutherland died at his home in Hollywood, California, from a heart attack, at the age of 52. He was survived by his wife, Verba, and three sons, Harry, Everett, and Lester. He is interred at Inglewood Park Cemetery. Bob Reeves (actor)
Robert Reeves (January 28, 1892 – April 12, 1960) was an American Western movie actor. Early years Robert Jasper Reeves was born in Marlin, Texas, the son of George Patton Reeves and Frances Luella Garrett, in 1892. He attended Marlin High School and Texas A&M University. During World War I he served in the United States Army in the Coast Artillery in California, and was discharged in December, 1918. Career Reeves won championships in rodeo competition and worked as a stunt double for Universal before he became an actor. His film career began as early as 1919, when he starred in an 18-chapter serial, ''The Great Radium Mystery''. He appeared in a number of silent films and sixteen sound films. In 1921 he was teamed with Marion Aye in a series of 18 Cactus Features directed by Albert S. Rogell. Gilbert "Pee Wee" Holmes was a Canadian actor and stunt performer known for his short stature. He appeared in more than 70 Hollywood films between 1920 and 1934, and often co-starred in Tom Mix comedy Westerns. Biography Gilbert was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, and raised in Miles City, Montana. Before he became an actor, he competed in rodeos around the United States. In the early 1920s, he began appearing in Hollywood westerns. During that decade, he and Ben Corbett produced and starred in a series of comedy shorts that ran before Universal's feature-length Westerns. He died on August 17, 1936, in Los Angeles, California.
