''The Man Who Never Was'' is a two-part episode and the story finale of ''The Sarah Jane Adventures'' which was broadcast on CBBC on 17 and 18 October 2011. It is the third and final story of the fifth series, and the final appearance of all the main cast, including the final appearance of Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith following the actress' death from cancer earlier that year. Plot Part 1 A woman who works as a cleaner at Serf Systems watches the commercial for the new SerfBoard. She suddenly hears an odd noise coming from a lift. When she arrives there, the lift opens and a mysterious figure snatches her. Luke returns home from university and he meets Sky for the first time. Sarah Jane, Clyde and Rani are glad to see him. Luke realises that his old room is now Sky's, and when he mentions that fact, Sky feels guilty. Luke explains that, while he has a dog whistle to call K9, the robot dog currently cannot leave Oxford. Jason Mohammad
Jason Mohammad (born 17 September 1973) is a Welsh radio and television presenter currently working for the BBC. He is the current host of ''Final Score'' on BBC One on Saturday afternoons. Personal life Mohammad was born and brought up in Cardiff to a Pakistani father and Welsh mother, going to school at Glyn Derw High School. He studied Welsh and Politics at Swansea University, and then attended Cardiff University for a postgraduate diploma in broadcast journalism. He is a practising Muslim. Career Television Mohammad joined BBC Cymru Wales in 1997 as a reporter for ''BBC Wales Today'' before becoming the anchor of ''Wales on Saturday''. In 2013, he replaced Gabby Logan as the host of ''Final Score'' on BBC One on Saturday afternoons, regularly hosting alongside pundits such as Garth Crooks and Danny Mills. K9 (Doctor Who)
K9, occasionally written K-9, is the name of several fictional robotic canines (dogs, the name being a pun on the pronunciation of "canine") in the long-running British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who'', first appearing in 1977. K9 has also been a central character in three of the series' television spin-offs: the one-off ''K-9 and Company'' (1981), ''The Sarah Jane Adventures'' (2007–2011) and '' K-9'' (2009–2010). Although not originally intended to be a recurring character in the series, K9 was kept in the show following his first appearance because he was expected to be popular with younger audiences. Cancer
Cancer is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body. These contrast with benign tumors, which do not spread. Possible signs and symptoms include a lump, abnormal bleeding, prolonged cough, unexplained weight loss, and a change in bowel movements. While these symptoms may indicate cancer, they can also have other causes. Over 100 types of cancers affect humans. Tobacco use is the cause of about 22% of cancer deaths.
