The Mall School
The Mall School is an independent preparatory school for boys, in Twickenham, London. The school accommodates pupils in Reception at the age of 4, before leaving for senior schools at the age of 11. Facilities The school buildings consist of the main site accommodating pupils from Year 2 through to Year 6, and a separate "Pre-Prep" building, a few minutes' walk from the main site, accommodating pupils in Reception and Year 1. The facilities at the main site include a 160-seat theatre, a science block and garden, art and music studios, an ICT suite, and library. Interactive classroom whiteboards are provided throughout most of the school. Gareth Stedman Jones (born 17 December 1942) is an English academic and historian. As Professor of the History of Ideas at Queen Mary, University of London, he deals particularly with working-class history and Marxism. Career Educated at St Paul's School and Lincoln College, Oxford, where he graduated in history in 1964, Stedman Jones went on to Nuffield College, Oxford to take a DPhil in 1970. The England national rugby union team represents England in men's international rugby union. They compete in the annual Six Nations Championship with France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. Andy Beattie (born 6 September 1978) is a retired English rugby union player. He played back row forward for Bath and Exeter Chiefs between 1997 and 2012. Career Beattie was educated at The Mall School, an independent school in Twickenham and at the independent Hampton School, in Middlesex, and at Exeter University, where he gained a degree in Sports Science. In 1997 he was a member of one of England's finest 18 Group sides, together with such players as Iain Balshaw, Mike Tindall, Jonny Wilkinson, Andrew Sheridan and Steve Borthwick. While at Exeter University, between 1997 and 2001, he played for Exeter RFC. After graduating from Exeter University he joined Bath. "5 Years Time", also known as "5 Years Time (Sun Sun Sun)", is the debut single by English folk rock band Noah and the Whale. It was originally released in 2007, but was later re-released on 4 August 2008 and became their first top-ten hit. Chart performance "5 Years Time" did not chart upon its first release in 2007. After poor initial sales, the group chose to re-release the single, and the record made it onto the charts in a number of countries. In the UK, it debuted at number 24, and went on to become Noah and the Whale's first top-ten single, peaking at number 7. In Ireland, "5 Years Time" debuted at number 47 and peaked at number 10. Noah and the Whale were a British indie rock and folk band from Twickenham, formed in 2006. The band's last line-up consisted of Charlie Fink (vocals, guitar), Tom Hobden (violin/ keyboards), Matt "Urby Whale" Owens (bass guitar), Fred Abbott (guitar/keys) and Michael Petulla (drums). Doug Fink (drums), the brother of lead singer Charlie, and Laura Marling (backing vocals) were also past members of the band. Crispian Mills (born 18 January 1973 as Crispian John David Boulting; spiritual name Krishna Kantha Das) is an English singer-songwriter, guitarist, and film director. Active since 1988, Mills is best known as the frontman of the psychedelic indie rock band Kula Shaker. Following the band's break-up in 1999, he remained with Columbia Records (a subsidiary of Sony BMG), and toured with a set of session musicians (including a support slot for Robbie Williams) under the name Pi, although no official studio recordings were released in full.
