The Maker (film)
''The Maker'' is a 1997 American drama film written by Rand Ravich and directed by Tim Hunter. ''The Maker'' was released in the United States on October 17, 1997. Plot Josh (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is a high school boy who lives with his adoptive parents and is involved in little crimes with his friends, including young lesbian Bella (Fairuza Balk). His elder brother Walter (Matthew Modine) suddenly comes back home after leaving home ten years prior when he was 18 and not being heard of all those years. Walter starts to involve Josh in various new criminal activities, including robbery. Tim Hunter (director)
Tim Hunter (born June 15, 1947, in Los Angeles, California) is an American television and film director. Rand Ravich is a film and television director, writer, and producer. He wrote and directed the 1999 science fiction thriller ''The Astronaut's Wife'', starring Johnny Depp and Charlize Theron. He was a producer on the film '' Confessions of a Dangerous Mind'', and also wrote the screenplays for the '' Candyman'' sequel '' Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh'' and the 1997 movie '' The Maker''. Hubert Taczanowski (born 1 October 1960, Poland) is a US and UK-based motion picture cinematographer. He is the son of Stanisław and Mirosława (née Sadżak) Taczanowski and a member of the former magnate family Taczanowski from Poznań A graduate of Cinematography at the famed Łódź Film School in Poland, Taczanowski has been the director of photography on nineteen feature films and two television series.
