The Magnificent Seven Ride!
''The Magnificent Seven Ride!'' (also known as ''The Magnificent Seven 4'') is a 1972 Western film and is the third and last sequel of the 1960 western, ''The Magnificent Seven''. It stars Lee Van Cleef as Chris Adams, succeeding Yul Brynner and George Kennedy in the role. It was directed by George McCowan. Plot In southern Arizona Territory, hired gun-turned-marshal Chris Adams rescues his old friend, former bounty hunter Jim Mackay, from an ambush. Jim asks Chris to help him defend the Mexican border town of Magdalena from De Toro and his bandits, but Chris is reluctant. Chris refuses his new wife Arrila’s request to release teenager Shelly Donavan, jailed for robbery. Chris meets with newspaper writer Noah Forbes for a story on Chris' eventful career. George McCowan
George McCowan (June 27, 1927 – November 1, 1995) was a Canadian film and television director in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. McCowan began his career working for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. He worked as an actor and director for several seasons at the Stratford Festival, and moved to the United States in 1967. He directed episodes of '' Charlie's Angels'', ''S.W.A.T.'', and '' Starsky and Hutch'', as well as every episode of the popular Canadian series '' Seeing Things''.
