Richard H. Bartlett (8 November 1922 – 11 June 1994), also known as Dick Bartlett, was an American film director, director and film producer, producer in film and TV. He also acted and wrote. He is best known for his low budget features in the 1950s and his television work in the late 1950s and early 1960s. In 1956 he teamed up with Norman Jolley to form Bartlett-Jolley Productions. With Jolley writing, Bartlett directing and both men producing, they made eight movies for Universal-International within two years and worked on critically acclaimed segments of "Wagon Train" and later ''Cimarron City''. Wayne Morris (American Actor)
Wayne Morris (born Bert DeWayne Morris Jr. February 17, 1914 – September 14, 1959) was an American film and television actor, as well as a decorated World War II fighter ace. He appeared in many films, including ''Paths of Glory'' (1957), ''The Bushwackers'' (1952), and the title role of ''Kid Galahad'' (1937). Early life and career Morris was born in Los Angeles County, California to Bert DeWayne Morris and Anna Lorea Morris ( Fitzgerald). He attended Los Angeles City College and was a fullback on that school's varsity football team. He gained acting experience through his work at the Pasadena Playhouse. His film debut came in ''China Clipper'' (1936). John George Agar Jr. (January 31, 1921 – April 7, 2002) was an American film and television actor. He is best known for starring alongside John Wayne in the films ''Sands of Iwo Jima'', '' Fort Apache'', and ''She Wore a Yellow Ribbon''. In his later career he was the star of B movies, such as ''Tarantula!'', ''The Mole People'', '' The Brain from Planet Arous'', ''Revenge of the Creature'', ''Flesh and the Spur'' and '' Hand of Death''. He was the first husband of Shirley Temple. Agar's career suffered in the wake of his divorce, but he developed a niche playing leading men in low-budget science fiction, Western, and horror movies in the 1950s and 1960s. Leon Steven Klatzkin (1914–1992) was an American music arranger, composer, and conductor remembered for his long career in the Hollywood motion picture and television industries. A prolific film and television composer, orchestra conductor, soundtrack orchestrator and arranger, Klatzkin worked in the music department of the Hal Roach Studios as a musician for eight years, afterwards working throughout Hollywood, notably for 20th Century-Fox. Klatzkin joined ASCAP in 1952, and his list of compositions there numbers over 600, nearly all of them themes for film and television. Lippert Pictures was an American film production and distribution company controlled by Robert L. Lippert. History Robert L. Lippert (1909-1976) was a successful exhibitor, owning a chain of movie theaters in California and Oregon. He was frustrated that the Hollywood studios concentrated on making big, expensive pictures that commanded premium rental fees. He felt there was a market for smaller, cheaper feature films intended for neighborhood theaters in smaller situations. He called his new production company Action Pictures, and his first film, ''Wildfire (The Story of a Horse)'' (1945) was an outdoor adventure filmed in then-novel Cinecolor.
