''The Lloyd Bridges Show'' is an American anthology drama series produced by Aaron Spelling, which aired on CBS from September 11, 1962, to May 28, 1963, starring and hosted by Lloyd Bridges. Broadcast history ''The Lloyd Bridges Show'', a Four Star production, aired on Tuesday at 8 p.m. Eastern time; summer rebroadcasts aired from June to September 3, 1963. The series aired opposite the first season of ABC's military drama ''Combat!'', starring Rick Jason and Vic Morrow, and the last season of NBC's western series '' Laramie'' starring John Smith, Robert Fuller, and Spring Byington. Lloyd Bridges
Lloyd Vernet Bridges Jr. (January 15, 1913 – March 10, 1998) was an American film, stage and television actor who starred in a number of television series and appeared in more than 150 feature films. He was the father of four children, including the actors Beau Bridges and Jeff Bridges. He started his career as a contract performer for Columbia Pictures, appearing in films such as ''Sahara'' (1943), '' A Walk in the Sun'' (1945), '' Little Big Horn'' (1951) and ''High Noon'' (1952). On television, he starred in '' Sea Hunt'' 1958 to 1961. By the end of his career, he had re-invented himself and demonstrated a comedic talent in such parody films as '' Airplane!'' Vic Morrow
Victor Morrow (born Victor Morozoff; February 14, 1929 – July 23, 1982) was an American actor. He came to prominence as one of the leads of the ABC drama series '' Combat!'' (1962–1967), which earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Continued Performance by an Actor in a Series. Active on screen for over three decades, his film roles include ''Blackboard Jungle'' (1955), '' King Creole'' (1958), ''God's Little Acre'' (1958), ''Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry'' (1974), and '' The Bad News Bears'' (1976). Lon Leonard Chapman (October 1, 1920 – October 12, 2007) was an American actor best known for his numerous guest star appearances on television drama series. Early years Chapman was the son of Elmer and Eunice Chapman, He was born on October 1, 1920, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but lived thereafter in Joplin, Missouri. He graduated from Joplin High School and, in 1940, from Joplin Junior College. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served in the South Pacific during World War II. Walter Lawrence Burke (August 25, 1908 – August 4, 1984) was an American character actor of stage, film, and television whose career in entertainment spanned over a half century. Although he was a native of New York, Burke's Irish ancestry often led to his being cast in roles as an Irishman or Englishman.
