''The Lion and the Witch'' is a live EP by American rock band Weezer. Recorded in Japan in the spring of 2002 while promoting ''Maladroit'', released on September 24, 2002, exactly six years after the release of '' Pinkerton.'' Weezer
Weezer is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1992. Since 2001, the band has consisted of Rivers Cuomo (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Patrick Wilson (drums, backing vocals), Scott Shriner (bass guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), and Brian Bell (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals). After signing to Geffen Records in 1993, Weezer released their self-titled debut album, also known as the Blue Album, in May 1994. Kozyndan
Kozyndan is the joint pseudonym of Los Angeles-based husband-and-wife illustrator team Kozue and Dan Kitchens, known in particular for their whimsical and occasionally absurd illustrations of modern cityscapes. Education and background The pair met while majoring in illustration at California State University, Fullerton. Since then, their projects have included CD covers for bands such as Weezer and The Postal Service, clothing (including lines of illustrated shoes), and posters for companies such as Nike, Inc. Brian Bell
Brian Lane Bell (born December 9, 1968) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter. He is best known as the rhythm guitarist, keyboardist, backing vocalist, and occasional lead vocalist of the rock band Weezer, with whom he has recorded fifteen studio albums. Bell also fronted the rock band The Relationship and was the lead vocalist and guitarist of the indie rock band Space Twins. "El Scorcho" is a song by the American alternative rock band Weezer. It is the first single from the band's second album, '' Pinkerton'', released in 1996. The music video features the band playing in an old ballroom in Los Angeles (as revealed by Weezer's ''Video Capture Device'' DVD), surrounded by light fixtures of diverse origin, flashing in time to the music. The name of the song supposedly came from a packet of hot sauce from Del Taco, labeled "Del Scorcho". The track failed commercially; several radio stations refused to play the song, and the video was not played on MTV. This is considered to be one of the causes for the initial commercial failure of the album.
