''The Latest with Laura Jayes'' was an Australian television news and commentary program broadcast weeknights on Sky News Australia. The program was hosted by Laura Jayes until she took maternity leave in 2017. The program covers a range of news and politics, as well as interviews. Jayes has described the program as "a real point of difference in the evenings", referring to being the only female program presenter in primetime on Sky News Live. The series premiered on 18 January 2016 at 7pm AEDST replacing the last hour of ''Reporting Live'' which was cut from two hours to a single hour, airing live from Monday to Thursday. From 25 April 2016, to accommodate the relaunch of ''The Bolt Report'', ''The Latest'' moved timeslots to an hour earlier at 6pm AEST replacing ''Reporting Live'' which entered hiatus and from that week added a Friday airing. ''The Morning Shift'' is an Australian morning talk, news and commentary program broadcast on weekdays on Sky News Australia. The program launched on 30 January 2017 as part of a new programming lineup. It is hosted by Tom Connell and co-hosted by a rotating panel of Sky News presenters, reporters and contributors. The show replaced ''News Now with Helen Dalley'' which had aired in the majority of the timeslot in 2016. It currently runs from 9:30am to noon. Helen Dalley (born 1957) is an Australian journalist, who formerly worked for Kerry Packer's Publishing and Broadcasting Limited (PBL) media stable. Dalley is best known for her work on the Nine Network television programs ''Sunday'', ''Today'' and ''A Current Affair''. She has also been a news presenter on Sky News Australia. Ashleigh Gillon is an Australian journalist. Gillon currently works on Sky News Australia. Career Early in her career, Gillon worked at a radio station in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada before joining Sky News Australia in 2004, serving as a producer. In 2011, Gillon received the Wallace Brown Award, honouring young journalists in the Canberra Press Gallery, as well as an ASTRA Award for outstanding performance by a broadcast journalist. Macquarie Park () is a suburb in the Northern Sydney region of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
