The Last Tour
The Last Tour is a world tour by the bachata group Aventura to promote their final studio album ''The Last'' before their split. The Last Tour started on July 31, 2009 and ended on March 7, 2011. It was their last tour as a group, until their 2016 residency and 2020 Inmortal Tour of US arenas. The Last Tour was the band's most successful tour and the longest. It broke attendance records in Latin America, including 60,000 fans in Santo Domingo at Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez. In the United States the tour was a success. In an article, ''Billboard'' stated that in the United States Aventura's 2009-10 shows averaged $675,000 and 9,358 tickets per show. In 2010, ''Billboard'' named it the top Latin tour of 2010 with a total gross of US$18.1 million over 27 shows with 15 sellouts and 253,777 attendance. Aventura (band)
Aventura is an American bachata group formed in The Bronx, New York. With the lineup always consisting of the members Romeo Santos, Henry Santos, Lenny Santos (Len Melody), and Max Santos (Max Agende), they are regarded as one of the most influential Latin groups of all time. All of the members are of Dominican descent, although Romeo is also half Puerto Rican on his mother's side. They were the first major bachata act to have originated in the United States instead of the Dominican Republic. The group was integral to the evolution of bachata music and are the pioneers of the modern bachata sound. Aventura released five studio albums in a decade, creating many top 10 hits like "Cuando Volverás", "Un Beso", "Mi Corazoncito", "Los Infieles", "El Perdedor", "Por Un Segundo", "Dile Al Amor", among others. The Last (album)
''The Last'' is the fifth and final studio album by the Bachata group Aventura, released on June 9, 2009. In the "Intro" of this album, Anthony "Romeo" Santos states that this could possibly be their last album; his prediction came true in July 2011 when the group publicly confirmed it was breaking up for good. ''The Last'' became the top selling Latin album of 2009 and 2010. The Last spent 23 weeks at number one in the Latin Billboard chart. The Last debuted at number 5 in the Billboard chart and number 1 in the Latin Billboard chart. Album information One of the members of the group, the guitarist Lenny told MTV that the album was recorded in Wyclef's studio, and stated that Wyclef wanted to record a song with them. Inmortal Tour
Inmortal Tour is a reunion world tour by the bachata group Aventura. The name of the tour references their reunion hit and lead single by the main singer Romeo Santos, " Inmortal". It was their first tour in 10 years since The Last Tour and their first reunion concerts since the 2016 concerts in the United Palace. The tour was commercially successful and sold out in just minutes. Initially only seven dates were announced but due to high demand more shows were added. The first 14 shows in the United States earned US$23.1 million from 176,931 tickets sold and ''Billboard'' predicted that the North American leg could reach $50 million in ticket sales.
