The Kings Of NXT
The Kings of NXT was a villainous professional wrestling stable performing in WWE on the NXT brand. The group was initially led by former NFL player Pat McAfee, and also featured Danny Burch, Oney Lorcan, Pete Dunne, and Ridge Holland, with Dunne emerging as its second leader after McAfee. History Background On July 23, 2020, Adam Cole was a guest on McAfee's podcast. Cole became very frustrated with him during the interview for saying that The Undisputed Era was the reason for his success and that he would not have achieved all that he had on his own because he was a small guy. This would cause Cole to eventually curse out McAfee, break his microphone, push his friend and storm out of the interview. Triple H would appear on McAfee's podcast a few days later to invite him to come to an episode of ''NXT'' to talk things out with Cole. He appeared on the August 5 episode of ''NXT'', appearing to have made up with Cole. However, later in the evening, as he was a guest com ...

Vengeance Day
NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day was the 33rd NXT TakeOver and ninth Vengeance professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by WWE. It was held exclusively for wrestlers from the promotion's NXT brand division. The event took place on February 14, 2021, from the Capitol Wrestling Center, hosted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The event revived WWE's old Vengeance PPV name, thus being the first Vengeance held since 2011. The event's name was also a play on Valentine's Day, as the event was held on the same day as the holiday. It was the first Vengeance event to livestream on the WWE Network, as well as the final NXT TakeOver event to air on the American version of the WWE Network before its merger under Peacock in March. It would also be the final Vengeance to air on PPV, as the following year's event was held as a television special, and while the 2023 event returned to livestreaming, NXT's major events as of the 2022 calendar year no ...

WarGames Match
WarGames is a specialized steel cage match in professional wrestling. The match usually involves two teams of either four, five, or more wrestlers locked inside a steel cage that encompasses two rings placed side by side. The cage may or may not have a roof, depending on which professional wrestling promotion the match is held in. Created by Dusty Rhodes in 1987, the WarGames match was originally used in Jim Crockett Promotions (JCP) of the National Wrestling Alliance, and later, held annually in World Championship Wrestling (WCW), usually at the Fall Brawl pay-per-view event—in 1988, JCP was sold and rebranded as WCW. These original WarGames matches had a roof on the cage with no pinfalls as a win situation, although later WCW versions allowed pinfalls to win. Since 2017, WWE, which purchased the assets of WCW in 2001, has held annual WarGames matches at WarGames branded events. WWE's WarGames matches do not have a roof on the cage and also allow pinfalls as a win situation. ...
