At the 1943 Argentine Film Critics Association Awards, Arturo García Buhr won the Silver Condor Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film. Carlos Hugo Christensen
Carlos Hugo Christensen ( Santiago del Estero, 15 December 1914 – Rio de Janeiro, 30 November 1999) was an Argentine film director, screenwriter and film producer. He was of Danish descent through his paternal side. Christensen directed fifty-four feature films some of which are considered masterpieces of what is known as the Argentine golden era of cinema. ''Si Muero antes de despertar'' ('' If I Should Die Before I Wake'') and ''No abras nunca esa puerta'' (''Never Open That Door''), were part of a retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 2016. Tito Alonso
Tito Alonso (1926–1979) was an Argentine film actor. Career Alonso entered film in 1940 at the age of 14 in ''El Inglés de los güesos'' In 1947 he appeared in ''A sangre fría''. Alonso worked consistently in Argentine film throughout the 1950s, 60s and 1970s appearing in the 1964 popular film ''Aconcagua'' amongst many others. Alonso also appeared in the 1974 film '' Agentes Secretos Contra Guante Verde''. He made a number of appearances on TV in Argentina in the late 1960s and 1970s until his premature death in 1979 aged 53.
