The KMG's
The ''KMG's'' (Krazy Mess Groovers) is a Belgium, Belgian group that won the chance to represent Belgium with the song "Love Power (The KMG's song), Love Power" in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki, Finland. Since the Eurovision Song Contest only allow six performers on stage at one time, a part of the group did not perform at the song contest. Those who participated were Sexyfire, Mr Scotch, Mr French Kiss, Big Boss, Mr Cream and Lady Soulflower. At Eurovision, they performed 24th in the running order and were not announced for the top 10 qualifiers having placed 26th in a pool of 28 finishing with 14 points. Alto Saxophone
The alto saxophone is a member of the saxophone family of woodwind instruments. Saxophones were invented by Belgian instrument designer Adolphe Sax in the 1840s and patented in 1846. The alto saxophone is pitched in E, smaller than the B tenor but larger than the B soprano. O Julissi
Belgium participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "O Julissi" written by Michel Vangheluwe. The song was performed by the band Ishtar. The Belgian entry for the 2008 contest in Belgrade, Serbia was selected through the national final ''Eurosong '08'', organised by the Flemish broadcaster Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroeporganisatie (VRT). The competition featured twenty competing entries and consisted of seven shows. In the final on 9 March 2008, "O Julissi Na Jalini" performed by Ishtar was selected as the winner via a public televote. The song was later retitled as "O Julissi". Ishtar is a Belgian ( Flemish) folk band who represented Belgium at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest with the song " O Julissi", sung in an imaginary language. They competed in the first semi-final on 20 May 2008. O Julissi " O Julissi" is a song by Ishtar. The band's sitclaims that the song is in an imaginary language. There is, however, a certain similarity to Ukrainian language, Ukrainian; in particular, the first line is fully understandable (Ukrainian "Ой у лісі на ялині", meaning "Oh, in the forest on a spruce"). Kate Ryan (born Katrien Verbeeck, 22 July 1980) is a Belgian singer and songwriter, and the winner of a World Music Award. She began her singing career in 2001 and later found fame with a string of dance hits.
