The Joykiller
The Joykiller was an American punk rock supergroup from Huntington Beach, California, United States. The Joykiller were formed in 1995 by Jack Grisham of T.S.O.L., Billy Persons (The Weirdos/Gun Club) and Ronnie King. After the formation of the band Jack recruited his ex-T.S.O.L. bandmate Ron Emory on guitar and added Chris Lagerborg on drums. This original line-up recorded one album on Epitaph Records, '' The Joykiller'', before Emory was replaced in 1996. The next line-up saw the addition of songwriter Sean Greaves on guitar. They recorded two albums on the Epitaph label, ''Static'' and ''Three'', and toured the U.S., Canada, and Europe. The Joykiller released their fifth record, ''Music for Break-Ups'', in January 2015. The Weirdos
The Weirdos are an American punk rock band from Los Angeles, California. They formed in 1975, split-up in 1981, re-grouped in 1986 and have remained semi-active ever since. Critic Mark Deming calls them "quite simply, one of the best and brightest American bands of punk's first wave." Tender Fury
Tender Fury was an American hard rock and punk rock band from Long Beach, CA formed in 1987 and active until their disbandment in 1993. Jack Grisham and Todd Barnes of T.S.O.L. were founding members of Tender Fury, and while Barnes was only active through 1990, Grisham remained the original founding member throughout the band's lifetime. Other prominent members of the band included Robbie Allen, Hunt Sales, Randy Bradbury, Josh Freese, and Frank Agnew. Tender Fury released three albums over the course of their career; their first self-titled album (1987) on Posh Boy Records, and their sophomore album ''Garden of Evil'' (1989) and final album ''If Anger Were Soul, I'd Be James Brown'' (1991) on Triple X Records. F-Minus
F-Minus was an American hardcore punk band formed in 1995 in Huntington Beach, California, United States, started by Jen Johnson and Brad Logan. F-Minus was known for their dueling male and female vocals in songs that were sometimes as short as 12 seconds ("Fuck You O.C."). Before breaking up in 2004, their last album was recorded by Steve Albini. Throughout their career, they covered such bands as Antidote, Black Randy and the Metro Squad, 7 Seconds, Negative Approach, and Agnostic Front. The Gun Club were an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States, which existed from 1979 to 1996. It was formed and led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Jeffrey Lee Pierce.
