''The Jolly Mon'' is a children's picture book written by Jimmy Buffett and Savannah Jane Buffett and published by Harcourt Brace Jovanovich. The book was originally released in 1988. It was illustrated by Lambert Davis. Dolphin
A dolphin is an aquatic mammal within the infraorder Cetacea. Dolphin species belong to the families Delphinidae (the oceanic dolphins), Platanistidae (the Indian river dolphins), Iniidae (the New World river dolphins), Pontoporiidae (the brackish dolphins), and the extinct Lipotidae (baiji or Chinese river dolphin). There are 40 extant species named as dolphins. Dolphins range in size from the and Maui's dolphin to the and orca. Various species of dolphins exhibit sexual dimorphism where the males are larger than females. They have streamlined bodies and two limbs that are modified into flippers. Jack Sparrow
Captain Jack Sparrow is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the '' Pirates of the Caribbean'' film series. The character was created by screenwriters Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio and is portrayed by Johnny Depp. The characterization of Sparrow is based on a combination of The Rolling Stones' guitarist Keith Richards and Looney Tunes cartoons, specifically the characters Bugs Bunny and Pepé Le Pew. Terry Rossio
Terry Rossio (born July 2, 1960) is an American screenwriter. He co-wrote the films ''Aladdin'', ''Shrek'', and all five of the ''Pirates of the Caribbean'' series. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for ''Shrek'', and won the Annie Award for Writing in a Feature Production, as well as the BAFTA Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for ''Shrek''. He often collaborates with fellow screenwriter Ted Elliott. Life and career Rossio was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. After graduating from Saddleback High School in Santa Ana, California, he went on to study at California State University, Fullerton where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications, with an emphasis in radio, television and film. ''Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl'' is a 2003 American supernatural swashbuckler film directed by Gore Verbinski and the first film in the ''Pirates of the Caribbean'' film series. Produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer, the film is based on Walt Disney's ''Pirates of the Caribbean'' attraction at Disney theme parks.
