The Jesus Christ Show
''The Jesus Christ Show'' is a syndicated radio program that airs every Sunday from 6 to 9 a.m. Pacific Time. It is carried on the Premiere Networks, a subsidiary of iHeartMedia, Inc. AM 640 KFI in Los Angeles serves as the flagship station where the show is produced. It is billed as "Hosted by Jesus Christ." Jesus is played by the show's producer, Neil Saavedra, who wears many hats at KFI, including hosting "The Fork Report," a Saturday afternoon food show, as well as selling advertising for the station. Saavedra refers to himself on-air as "your holy host." He does not believe that he is actually Jesus Christ. Craig Michael Saavedra (born November 2, 1963 in Los Angeles, California) is an American film producer, director, and two time Tony Award-winning Broadway producer. He is married to cinematographer/director Joaquin Sedillo. Early life Saavedra was raised in Thousand Oaks, California along with his six siblings, among them cartoonist/illustrator Scott Saavedra (“Dr. Radium”) and KFI AM 640 radio personality Neil Saavedra (''The Jesus Christ Show''). KSTE (650 AM) is a commercial radio station broadcasting a talk radio format. Licensed to Rancho Cordova, California, the station serves the Sacramento metropolitan area. The station is owned by iHeartMedia and features shows from Westwood One, Radio America, Compass Media Networks, and Premiere Networks, a subsidiary of iHeartMedia. The studios and offices are in North Sacramento near the Arden Fair Mall.
