''The Japan Box'' is a boxed set compilation of the five albums released by the Beatles for the Japanese market between 1964 and 1965, originally released in Japan by Odeon Records. "Please Mr. Postman" is a song written by Georgia Dobbins, William Garrett, Freddie Gorman, Brian Holland and Robert Bateman. It was first recorded during the '' Please Please Me'' album session, but not selected for inclusion and re-recorded for their second album.
