The Intergenerational Foundation
The Intergenerational Foundation (IF) is a charitable UK-based thinktank established to promote fairness between generations. IF believe that each generation should pay its own way, which - they claim - is not happening at present. They postulate that British policy-makers have given undue advantages to the older generation at the expense of younger and future generations. Its publications include "Hoarding of Housing", and "How the Localism Act Hands Power to Older Generations". In November 2012 it launched a film competition with The Guardian. Its co-founders Ashley Seager, Ed Howker, Shiv Malik and Angus Hanton, are regularly cited in the British media. Shiv Malik
Shiv Malik (born 1981) is a British author, communications professional, and former investigative journalist. Career Journalism and writing Malik is known for work with a now defunct team of investigative journalists at ''The Guardian'', where he reported on matters such as terrorism and labor rights until 2016. He is a co-founder and advisory board member of The Intergenerational Foundation, a charitable UK-based think-tank, which seeks to promote fairness between generations. Earlier in his career, Malik wrote for ''Prospect Magazine'', The Sunday Times, The Independent on Sunday and others. He has also appeared on numerous media outlets, including ''BBC Newsnight'' and Channel 4, discussing topics ranging from Islamic terrorism to social media companies. Jörg Tremmel
Jörg Tremmel (born 4 August 1970 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany) is a political theorist and philosopher. He is a professor at Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, Germany. Academic career Tremmel holds two PhDs, one in philosophy and one in social sciences. Foundation For The Rights Of Future Generations
Foundation for the Rights of Future Generations (FRFG), also known as Stiftung für die Rechte zukünftiger Generationen (SRzG), is a German think tank and activist group focused on intergenerational justice and sustainability. Established in 1997, the foundation is based in Stuttgart, Germany. The FRFG has been called the most important extra-parliamentary think tank on the topic of intergenerational justice in Germany, and has members from around the world. The organization rose to national prominence while campaigning to include a provision for sustainability and the protection of future generations into the German constitution. It has also campaigned for age-independent voting rights. Danny Dorling (born 16 January 1968) is a British social geographer. Since 2013, he has been Halford Mackinder Professor of Geography of the School of Geography and the Environment of the University of Oxford.
