''The House of the Fox'' (Spanish: ''La casa de la zorra'') is a 1945 Mexican musical comedy film directed by Juan José Ortega. It stars Virginia Fábregas, Isabela Corona, and Alberto Galán. The film was released on 6 December 1945 at the Palacio cinema. Plot A woman nicknamed "''La zorra''" ("The Fox") runs a gambling house. She welcomes the arrival of her son with great joy. However, "''La zorra''" learns that her business is on the verge of bankruptcy because of the wasteful spending of her son, who plans to escape and elope with a young woman whom he falls in love with. Felipe Montoya (actor)
Andrés Felipe Montoya Pulgarín (born 30 August 1990) is a Spanish competitive figure skater. He has won seven international medals and is an eight-time Spanish national medalist, having won two silver and six bronze medals. He finished within the top twenty at two European Championships ( 2016, 2018) and placed 29th at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Personal life Montoya was born on 30 August 1990 in Pereira, Colombia. He moved to Spain when he was eight years old. Career Montoya began learning to skate in 2003. Manuel Buendía Tellezgirón (24 May 1926 – 30 May 1984) was a Mexican journalist and political columnist who last worked for the daily ''Excélsior'', one of the most-read newspapers in Mexico City. His direct reporting style in his column ''Red Privada'' ("Private Network"), which publicly exposed government and law enforcement corruption, organized crime, and drug trafficking, was distributed and read in over 200 newspapers across Mexico. Estanislao Shilinsky
Estanislao Schillinsky Bachanska (10 August 1911 – 27 September 1985), known as Estanislao Shilinsky or simply Shilinsky, was a Lithuanian-born Mexican comedian and the half of the 1940–1970 comedy duo '' Manolín y Shilinsky'' with ("Manolín"). Career Estanislao Shilinsky and his brother moved to Mexico as members of a Russian circus troup. His career started in the carpa circuit when he met Grigori Ivanov who introduced him to the Carpa Valentina that he owned. In 1929 he coached Mario Moreno and helped him improve his Cantinflas character. He later married Olga Subarev, the daughter of Ivanov, while Cantinflas married her sister Valentina Ivanova who the carpa was named after. One of Shilinsky's singular characteristics as a Mexican actor was his remnant Russian accent. His sidekick Manuel Palacio Sierra eventually lost his voice and died in poverty in 1977.
