The Havana Pitbulls
The Havana Pitbulls was a professional wrestling tag team, consisting of Rocky Romero and Ricky Reyes, who worked for Ring of Honor as a member of The Rottweilers. They also worked for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Empire Wrestling Federation, Ultimate Pro Wrestling, and Liberty States Wrestling. History Independent circuit In September 1999, Romero and Reyes—using the tag team name Los Cubanitos—were awarded Empire Wrestling Federation (EWF)'s Tag Team Championship. They were later stripped of the title on December 4, 1999. Meanwhile, in the Ultimate Pro Wrestling promotion in April 2000, Los Cubanitos won the Tag Team title from Jobbers-R-Us, holding it for approximately one month before losing it to The Ballard Brothers. On April 29, 2001, they won the EWF Tag Team Championship from Aggravated Assault, whom they traded the title with once between April 2001 and February 2002. Reyes Nunez (born August 28, 1978), better known by the ring name Ricky Reyes, is a Cuban-American professional wrestler. He is known for his appearances in Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, World Wrestling Council, Lucha Underground and various other independent promotions. Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW) was a California-based independent pro wrestling company owned and operated by Rick Bassman, that operated from 1999 to 2007. The company had working relationships with Pro Wrestling Zero1 and World Wrestling Entertainment. SoCalUncensored.com is a professional wrestling news website based in Southern California. It is owned by Steven Bryant and was created in 2001. The site aggregates local wrestling and MMA events and a number of wrestlers such as Samoa Joe and Jake Atlas have contributed to the site over the years. The popularity of the site led Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky to name their professional wrestling stable as "SoCal Uncensored" in homage to it. Pro Wrestling Stable At Ring of Honor's Final Battle, Scorpio Sky joined Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian, becoming known as SoCal Uncensored. The ROH World Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling world tag team championship owned by the Ring of Honor (ROH) promotion; it is contested for in their tag team division. The championship was created and debuted on September 21, 2002, at ROH's Unscripted event. Daniel Lopez (born October 28, 1973), better known by his ring name Dan Maff, is an American professional wrestler, known for his time with Ring of Honor (ROH). Professional wrestling career Da Hit Squad Lopez attended Jersey All Pro Wrestling (JAPW) shows as a fan and enrolled in the JAPW training school when it opened in the late 1990s. The Rottweilers were a professional wrestling stable in Ring of Honor led by Homicide. The Rottweilers were known for their disrespect towards the Code of Honor and often used cheap tactics to win matches. History The Rottweilers started out as a stable to help Homicide feud with Steve Corino's stable, The Group.
