The Gun Show
"The Gun Show" is a song by American rock band In This Moment. It is the first promotional single released from their third studio album, ''A Star-Crossed Wasteland''. The song was released to iTunes on June 1, premiered on Sirius XM Radio Liquid Metal channel, and was also available for streaming on their Myspace page for 24 hours. A teaser trailer was released on May 19 containing a small snippet of the song. A few weeks later, a new trailer was released featuring an extended clip of the song and a first look at the music video. It was the official theme song of TNA Against All Odds 2011, and was later re-used by the promotion for their show Xplosion. Style "The Gun Show" represents the band's return to a heavier sound. Guitarist Chris Howorth says, "we just wanted to come out with a really heavy metal track to show everybody that In This Moment is back in metal and we’re embracing that part of ourselves." In This Moment
In This Moment is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed by singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005. They found drummer Jeff Fabb and started the band as Dying Star. Unhappy with their musical direction, they changed their name to In This Moment and gained two band members, guitarist Blake Bunzel and bassist Josh Newell. In 2005, bassist Newell left the band and was replaced by Jesse Landry. Their debut album, ''Beautiful Tragedy'', was released in 2007. Their follow up, titled '' The Dream'' was released the following year debuting at number 73 on the ''Billboard'' 200. The band's third album, '' A Star-Crossed Wasteland'' was released in 2010, and their fourth album titled ''Blood'' was released in August 2012 and debuted at number 15. Maria Brink (born December 18, 1977) is an American singer and songwriter, best known as the frontwoman of the metal band The band has gone on to release seven studio albums and receive four nominations, two from Alternative Press Music Awards, one from Grammy Awards, and one from Loudwire Music Awards. ''Xplosion'' was a professional wrestling television program that was produced by the Impact Wrestling promotion. Launched in 2002, the show featured highlights from Impact's flagship television program, exclusive taped matches, and other content. It was mainly produced for international markets, though in its later years, episodes would be distributed in the United States on Impact Plus. Against All Odds (2011) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which took place on February 13, 2011 at Impact Zone in Universal Studios Florida. It was named by Alternative Press as one of the most anticipated releases of 2010.
