The Greeting Committee
The Greeting Committee is an American indie rock band from Overland Park, Kansas. The band initially received attention after its single, "Hands Down", received airplay on Kansas City's KRBZ radio station in 2015. Two EPs preceded the release of the group's debut studio album, ''This Is It'', released in October 2018. The band released their second album “Dandelion” on September 21, 2021. The band’s latest album "Everyone’s Gone And I Know I'm The Cause" released on June 21, 2024. History The Greeting Committee, or T.G.C., was formed by Addie Sartino (lead vocals), Brandon Yangmi (guitar), Pierce Turcotte (bass), and Austin Fraser (drums) while the four were attending Blue Valley High School in Overland Park, Kansas in the summer of 2014. Overland Park ( ) is the second-most populous city in the U.S. state of Kansas. Located in Johnson County, Kansas, it is one of four principal cities in the Kansas City metropolitan area and the most populous suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 197,238. History In 1905, William B. Strang Jr. arrived and began to plot subdivisions along an old military roadway, which later became the city's principal thoroughfare. Harvest Records is a British-American record label belonging to Capitol Music Group, originally created by EMI in 1969. History Harvest Records was created by EMI in 1969 to market progressive rock music, and to compete with Philips' Vertigo and Decca's Deram labels, and the independent Island label. Harvest was initially under the direction of Malcolm Jones, and was distributed in North America by EMI's US affiliate, Capitol Records. They were the European licensee for the American label Blue Thumb Records from 1969 to 1971. Flipturn, stylized as flipturn, is an American indie rock band from Fernandina Beach, Florida formed in 2015. The band consists of founding members Dillon Basse (vocals), Tristan Duncan (guitar) and Madeline Jarman (bass) who founded the band as high school seniors. After their college years at the University of Florida, they picked up guitarist and synthesizer player Mitch Fountain, and drummer Devon VonBalson. Flipturn gained traction in 2018 with their EP ''Citrona''. The band signed to Dualtone Records in June 2022. Briston Maroney
Briston Lee Maroney is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Knoxville, Tennessee who is signed to Canvasback Music and Atlantic Records. He has released two EPs through the labels, including his most recent collection, "Sunflower” which was partially released and the full album was released April 9, 2021. Early life Briston Maroney largely grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. In August 2013, at age 15, Maroney tried out for the 13th season of ''American Idol'' at one of its audition bus stops in Knoxville. He was then selected to audition in front of the ''American Idol'' judges in Salt Lake City. There, he sang a version of The Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want" on an episode that aired in January 2014. Arkells is a Canadian rock band, formed in Hamilton, Ontario. In 2006, they signed with Dine Alone Records, and have since signed with Universal Records Canada and Last Gang Records. They are managed by Last Gang Management. They have released six albums, two EPs and a number of singles that have charted in Canada. The band has won multiple Juno Awards, including one for their album ''High Noon'' in 2015. The band headlined the 108th Grey Cup halftime show in Hamilton, Ontario on December 12, 2021.
