''The Greatest X'' (pronounced as "The Greatest Unknown") is the tenth studio album by American hip hop recording artist Reks. It was released on September 9, 2016, by Brick Records. The album features guest appearances from artists such as Termanology, Jared Evan, Edo G, R.A. the Rugged Man, Planet Asia and Guilty Simpson, among others. Corey Isiah Christie (born August 24, 1977), better known as Reks (styled in all caps as REKS), is an American rapper. Reks emerged from Lawrence, Massachusetts' underground rap scene. His debut underground album, ''Along Came The Chosen'', was released on Brick Records in 2001. Reks has released eight additional albums and has appeared on various albums and mixtapes. Early career Reks was a breakdancer in his teens and was part of a local B-boy crew called Funk Town Connection. By the time he entered college at University of Massachusetts Amherst, Reks had built a reputation for himself in the local Boston rap scene, and eventually quit school to begin recording for Brick Records. A few 12" singles, "I Could Have Done More" and "Fearless," arrived first in early 2001, before Brick issued his debut LP, ''Along Came the Chosen'', later that year. Termanology
Daniel Carrillo (born October 8, 1982), better known by his stage name Termanology, is an American rapper and record producer. He first gained major attention with the 2006 single "Watch How It Go Down". A solo album, '' Politics as Usual'', was released in 2008. He has made a number of collaborative albums, such as ''1982'' (released in 2010) and is known also for his prolific mixtape output. He is of Puerto Rican and French descent. Special Teamz
Special Teamz is an American hip hop group made of Boston rappers Edo G (formerly of Da Bulldogs), Jaysaun (formerly of the Kreators) and Slaine (of La Coka Nostra). All three members are of different racial backgrounds: Edo G is African-American, Jaysaun is mixed Puerto Rican, African-American, and Jewish, and Slaine is Irish-American. In 2005, the group released a self-titled mixtape cd (mixed by DJ Jayceeoh, who also supports Special Teamz live on stage) and a 12" vinyl single, and then went on what was almost a two-year search for a record label. Eventually, Sean Price of Heltah Skeltah engaged a deal signing the group to Duck Down Records. Sharif Talib Lacey, better known by his stage name Reef the Lost Cauze, is an underground hip hop artist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
