The Great Gatsby (musical)
''The Great Gatsby'' is a 2023 stage musical with music and lyrics by Jason Howland and Nathan Tysen, and a book by Kait Kerrigan. It is based on the 1925 novel of the same name by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The show started its Broadway previews on March 29, 2024, at the Broadway Theatre and officially opened on April 25, 2024. Synopsis Act I Nick Carraway, a Midwestern young man who served in World War I, arrives in New York to work as a bondsman and is immediately awestruck at the wealth and excess on display, particularly by his mysterious neighbor Jay Gatsby ("Roaring On"). Jason Howland
Jason Howland is a musical theatre composer, playwright, conductor, music director, and producer. In 2015, he won the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album for his work producing the cast recording of '' Beautiful: The Carole King Musical''. He also wrote the music for the Broadway musical ''Little Women''. Biography Howland was born June 16, 1971, in Concord, Massachusetts, and grew up in Williamstown, Massachusetts (''Little Women'' is set in New England). As a teenager, he attended Berkshire Ensemble for the Theatre Arts (a camp for aspiring musical-theatre composers and librettists). Eva Noblezada
Eva Maria Noblezada (; born March 18, 1996) is an American actress and singer. Noblezada made her Broadway debut as Kim in a revival of ''Miss Saigon'', a performance for which she received a nomination for a 2017 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical, becoming one of the youngest nominees in the category, at age 21.
