The Goon (film)
''The Goon'' is a comic book series written and drawn by Eric Powell (with colors often by Dave Stewart, Eric or Eric's brother, Robin). The series mixes both a comical and violent atmosphere with a supernatural slant, which pit the titular character against undead creatures/zombies, ghosts, ghouls, mutants, skunk-apes with an unnatural hunger for pies, giant squids, mob/gang leaders, extra-dimensional aliens, mad scientists and robots. Publication history An early prototype of ''The Goon'' was first published in 1995, in a book called ''Best Cellars #1'' from Out of the Cellar Comics. This prototype was called ''Monster Boy'', and the story was written and illustrated by Eric Powell. Thomas Patrick Lennon (born August 9, 1970) is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, producer, director, and novelist. He plays Lieutenant Jim Dangle on the series ''Reno 911!'' Lennon is an accomplished screenwriter of several major studio comedies with writing partner Robert Ben Garant. Eric Powell (March 3, 1975) is an American comic book writer/artist, best known as the creator of ''The Goon''. Career Powell has written and provided artwork for Dark Horse, DC Comics and Marvel Comics, but is most regarded for his original series ''The Goon'', which debuted from the small publisher Avatar Press. Cephalopod
A cephalopod is any member of the molluscan class Cephalopoda (Greek plural , ; "head-feet") such as a squid, octopus, cuttlefish, or nautilus. Hellboy
