''The Good Witch'' is the second studio album by English singer-songwriter Maisie Peters. It was released on 23 June 2023 by Gingerbread Man Records and Asylum Records. Peters took inspiration from Greek mythology whilst making the record and has described it as her "twisted version" of a break-up album. She wrote the album over the duration of a year whilst touring and has said that the chronological track listing is a reflection of her career highs and personal lows. Background Peters was hopeful that people would notice the maturity developed in her songwriting between ''The Good Witch'' and her debut album, ''You Signed Up for This'' (2021). Peters was inspired by her earlier folk and singer-songwriter style of music during the production of the album. She was also inspired by the Greek mythology written from female perspectives. Maisie Peters
Maisie Hannah Peters (born 28 May 2000) is an English singer-songwriter. After independently releasing two singles, she was signed to Atlantic Records, with whom she released two EPs and the second series soundtrack to the British comedy series '' Trying''. In 2021, she left Atlantic and signed with Ed Sheeran's Gingerbread Man Records label. Shortly afterwards, she released her debut studio album, '' You Signed Up for This''. Peters is set to release her second album, ''The Good Witch'', in June 2023. Early life Maisie Hannah Peters was born on 28 May 2000 in a small town in West Sussex, England to a teacher and communications worker. She has a twin sister, Ellen. Peters began singing around age eight, performing in choirs.
