The Golf Show
''The Golf Show'', currently branded as ''The New Golf Show'', is an Australian golf television series broadcast on Fox Sports (Australia), Fox Sports on Tuesday nights. The show was launched in 1997 with Brett Ogle the longest-serving host from 2002 to 2016. In 2016, the show was briefly replaced by different golf programming on Fox Sports. In October 2016, the show relaunched as ''The New Golf Show'' featuring Andrew Daddo as host and Paul Gow and Louise Ransome as presenters. Andrew Daddo
Andrew Dugald Daddo (born 18 February 1967) is an Australian actor, author and television and radio personality. Early life Daddo was born in Melbourne on 18 February 1967. He began his education at Mt Eliza Primary School and in year seven moved to Peninsula Grammar. After a short stint at the grammar school, the Daddo family moved away and continued his education at Millburn Junior High in New Jersey, USA. Returning to Australia, Daddo spent the last two and a half years of his schooling at Melbourne Grammar School. Daddo holds an Arts degree from Monash University. Career Andrew Daddo was a co-host of The Factory with Alex Papps, broadcast on ABC TV on Saturday mornings, from 1987 to 1989. He also hosted Countdown Revolution in 1989. The multiple-camera setup, multiple-camera mode of production, multi-camera or simply multicam is a method of filmmaking and video production. Several cameras—either film or professional video cameras—are employed on the set and simultaneously record or broadcast a scene. It is often contrasted with a single-camera setup, which uses one camera. Description Generally, the two outer cameras shoot close-up shots or "crosses" of the two most active characters on the set at any given time, while the central camera or cameras shoot a wider master shot to capture the overall action and establish the geography of the room. In this way, multiple shots are obtained in a single take without having to start and stop the action. Golf is a club-and-ball sport in which players use various clubs to hit balls into a series of holes on a course in as few strokes as possible. Brett Ogle
Brett James Ogle (born 14 July 1964) is an Australian professional golfer. Early life Ogle was born in Paddington, New South Wales, adopted at 6 weeks of age and was brought up in the town of Goulburn. He was a successful hockey player in his early years representing Southern Zone. He was also a State Champion sprinter at 200m and table tennis player, winning the NSW Schoolboys doubles title in 1978. He took up the game of golf not long after and reduced his golfing handicap from 32 to 1 in just two years. He was the Senior and Junior Club Champion at his home club in Goulburn, Tully Park. His first big break through was the Senior and Junior Club Champion of Champions event at the Federal Golf Club in 1980, a tournament that pitted all of the NSW Club Champions together. Paul Gow
Paul Gow (born 10 November 1970) is an Australian professional golfer. Gow was born in Sydney, Australia. He turned professional in 1993. Gow has won three times on the Nationwide Tour, once in 1997, once in 2000, and once in 2006. He has never won on the PGA Tour, but he did come close when he lost in a playoff to Jeff Sluman at the 2001 B.C. Open. Gow is 0-for-3 in playoffs on the Nationwide Tour, all of which were lost during the 2004 season, in which he finished 11th on the final money list.
