The Goldmind, Inc. is an American record label founded in 1997 by rapper Missy Elliott. Elliott was once distributed through Elektra Entertainment Group, and more recently by Atlantic Records before starting her own record label. The Goldmind, Inc. is home to Missy Elliott, specializing in R&B/hip-hop/soul music. History In 1997, Missy Elliott released her debut album ''Supa Dupa Fly'', making it The Goldmind, Inc.'s official entrance into the music industry. The album, which was produced by Timbaland, spawned four hit singles, including the Grammy nominated "The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)", "Sock It 2 Me", "Beep Me 911" and "Hit 'Em Wit Da Hee". Larenz Tate (born September 8, 1975) is an American film and television actor. He is best known for his roles as O-Dog in ''Menace II Society'' and as Councilman Rashad Tate in ''Power''. The MTV Video Music Awards (commonly abbreviated as the VMAs) is an award show presented by the cable channel MTV to honour the best in the music video medium. Torrey Carter
Torrey Carter (nicknamed T.C.) (born April 15, 1980) is an American Contemporary R&B, R&B singer. He gained popularity after signing to Missy Elliott's The Goldmind Inc. as the first male artist under the label. There, he began recording for his debut album, ''The Life I Live'', which was led by the single "Take That (Torrey Carter song), Take That" (US #87; US R&B No. 14). However, due to the lack of mainstream success with the lead single, the album was shelved and he departed from The Goldmind Inc., Goldmind. In 2006, Carter co-wrote and helped produce Nina Sky's song, "Building a Vibe". Footage of the recording leaked via YouTube that same year. Mint condition is an expression used to denote the quality of a pre-owned good as displaying virtually no imperfections and being in pristine condition relative to its original production state. Originally, the phrase related to the way collectors described the condition of coins.
