picture info	Charles Hutchison Charles Hutchison (December 3, 1879 – May 30, 1949) was an American film actor, director and screenwriter. He appeared in more than 40 films between 1914 and 1944. He also directed 33 films between 1915 and 1938. Though he directed numerous independent silent features, he is best remembered today as Pathé's leading male serial star from 1918 to 1922. In 1923 he went to Britain and made two films ''Hutch Stirs 'em Up'' and ''Hurricane Hutch in Many Adventures'' for the Ideal Film Company. He made one last serial in 1926, ''Lightning Hutch'', for distribution by the Arrow Film Corporation. It was meant to be a comeback vehicle, but the production company went into bankruptcy just as it was released. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and died in Hollywood, California. 	Alma Hanlon Alma Hanlon (April 30, 1890 – October 26, 1977) was an American silent film actress. Hanlon's film career was short, lasting only four years. She appeared in twenty-three films. Her first film role was as Dorothy Dare in ''The Fixer'' (1915) and her last was in ''The Profiteer'' (1919). Biography She was born on April 30, 1890, in New Jersey, the youngest daughter of George Hanlon. Her first husband was former correspondent and theatrical press agent Walter J. Kingsley, from 1905 until their divorce in 1917, with whom she had one child, Dorothy Kingsley (1909–1997). In 1918 she married director Louis Myll (1871–1939), when she had been living at Bayside, Queens for the last two years. She later moved with her daughter to the affluent suburb of Grosse Pointe, Michigan. 	Florence Short Florence Short (May 19, 1893 – July 10, 1946) was an American actress. She had numerous film roles as a supporting actress and was also cast in theatrical productions. She was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, and moved with her family to New York City as a child, where she attended the Finch School for Girls. She made her professional stage debut in 1910 with the Avenue Stock Company of Wilmington, Delaware. She had early Braodway appearances in Thompson Buchanan's ''The Bridal Path'' and George V. Hobart's ''Experience'', and early film roles in ''Damaged Goods'' (1914) and '' The Law That Failed'' (1917). She died at her home in Hollywood and is buried in Los Angeles.
