The Goldbergs (season 2)
The second season of the American television comedy series '' The Goldbergs'' premiered on ABC on September 24, 2014. The season was produced by Adam F. Goldberg Productions, Happy Madison Productions, and Sony Pictures Television, and the executive producers are Adam F. Goldberg, Doug Robinson, and Seth Gordon. The show explores the daily lives of the Goldberg family, a family living in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania in the 1980s. Beverly Goldberg (Wendi McLendon-Covey), the overprotective matriarch of the Goldbergs is married to Murray Goldberg (Jeff Garlin). They are the parents of three children, Erica (Hayley Orrantia), Barry (Troy Gentile), and Adam (Sean Giambrone). ABC renewed ''The Goldbergs'' for its second season on May 8, 2014. Wendi McLendon-Covey
Wendi McLendon-Covey (née McLendon; born October 10, 1969) is an American actress and comedian. She is known primarily for her work in comedic and improvisational roles. Since 2013, McLendon-Covey has played the role of Beverly Goldberg, a family matriarch, on the ABC comedy series '' The Goldbergs,'' for which she was nominated for two Critics' Choice Television Awards for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. A native of Long Beach, California, McLendon-Covey worked numerous jobs after graduating high school before earning a degree from California State University, Long Beach, in 2000. Cedric Percelle Yarbrough (born March 20, 1973) is an American actor and comedian who stars in series ''Reno 911!'' as Deputy S. Jones and as Kenneth on the ABC sitcom '' Speechless'', as well as voicing Gerald Fitzgerald on the Netflix comedy Paradise PD, Officer Meow Meow Fuzzyface on the Netflix comedy-drama '' BoJack Horseman'', and Tom DuBois on the Adult Swim sitcom ''The Boondocks''. Chicago (band)
Chicago is an American rock music, rock band formed in Chicago, Illinois, in 1967. The group began calling themselves the Chicago Transit Authority in 1968, then shortened the name in 1969. Self-described as a "rock and roll band with Horn (instrument), horns", Chicago's songs often combine elements of classical music, jazz, R&B, and pop music. Growing out of several bands from the Chicago area in the late 1960s, the line-up consisted of Peter Cetera on bass, Terry Kath on guitar, Robert Lamm on keyboards, Lee Loughnane on trumpet, James Pankow on trombone, Walter Parazaider on Woodwind instrument, woodwinds, and Danny Seraphine on drums. "You're the Inspiration" is a song written by Peter Cetera and David Foster for the group Chicago and recorded for their fourteenth studio album ''Chicago 17'' (1984), with Cetera singing lead vocals. The third single released from that album, it reached on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart in January 1985 and also climbed to the top position on the Adult Contemporary chart at the same time. The song won honors for Cetera from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), in 1986 in the most-performed songs category. Peter Cetera re-recorded the song for his 1997 solo album '' You're the Inspiration: A Collection''. That same year he also recorded a single version with the vocal R&B group Az Yet. A mixtape (alternatively mix-tape, mix tape or mixed tape) is a compilation of music, typically from multiple sources, recorded onto a medium. It was a part of Nexstar Media Group's Zap2it television news/listings site.
