The Gold Racket
''The Gold Racket'' is a 1937 American crime film directed by Louis J. Gasnier and written by David S. Levy. The film stars Conrad Nagel, Eleanor Hunt, in the third of their "G-Man" film series as well as Fuzzy Knight, Frank Milan, Jack Duffy and Albert J. Smith. The film was released on April 10, 1937, by Grand National Films Inc. Plot The story follows Alan and Bobbie as they accept a request from the Mexican Government to stop the operations of a gang that is smuggling gold from México to the U.S and then selling it to the U.S Government. Charles Delaney
Charles Delaney (August 9, 1892 – August 31, 1959) was an American actor. Biography Delaney was born in New York City in 1892. He was originally a motor mechanic and having learned to fly during World War I, he started doing flying vaudeville acts on his return to civilian life before beginning to appear in films. He appeared in more than 90 films between 1913 and 1959. Delaney died in Hollywood in 1959. His final screen appearance was a supporting role in the independently produced low-budget feature '' The Beatniks'' which was released posthumously in 1960. Delaney bore a resemblance to film star Tom Moore. Warner Richmond (born Werner Paul Otto Raetzmann; January 11, 1886 – June 19, 1948) was an American stage and film actor. He began his career as a stock theatre actor and appeared in films in both the silent film and sound eras. His career spanned four decades. He is possibly best recalled for appearances in Westerns in his later career in sound films. Between 1912 and 1946, he appeared in more than 140 films.
