''The Girls from Thunder Strip'' is an exploitation film in the biker genre. It is directed by David L. Hewitt. Hewitt also co produced it with Michael Mehas. It was released in 1966. It also featured American Top 40 DJ Casey Kasem. Story The film is about a trio of hillbilly girls who take on a biker gang over moonshine. The story line is basically about female bootleggers taking on a biker gang which is led by a typical bad biker called Teach. An outlaw, in its original and legal meaning, is a person declared as outside the protection of the law. In pre-modern societies, all legal protection was withdrawn from the criminal, so that anyone was legally empowered to persecute or kill them. Harry Woolman
Harry Simon Woolman (April 10, 1909 - October 27, 1996) was a race-circuit, film, and TV stuntman, specializing in motorcycle jumps, car crashes, and pyrotechnics, from the 1930s through the early 1960s. Bruce D. Kimball (born June 11, 1963) is an American diver and coach. He won a silver medal for the 10 meter platform at the 1984 Summer Olympics. Kimball was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan. His father is Dick Kimball, who coached nine divers to Olympic medals. His brother is punk rock drummer Jim Kimball. In October 1981, Kimball was struck head-on by a drunken driver. The outlaw biker film is a film genre that portrays its characters as motorcycle riding rebels. The characters are usually members of an outlaw motorcycle club. History Outlaw biker clubs formed in the late 1940s on the West Coast after the end of World War II. Their culture was first popularized in the Marlon Brando film ''The Wild One'' (1953), which tells a story based very loosely on actual events.
