Gary Nelson (director)
Gary Nelson (October 6, 1934 – May 25, 2022) was an American television and film director. He directed many television series, including ''Get Smart'', '' Gunsmoke'', ''Have Gun – Will Travel'', ''The Patty Duke Show'', '' Gilligan's Island'' and ''Happy Days''. In addition, Nelson directed five feature films, including Disney's ''Freaky Friday'' (1976), and many television movies, including '' Murder in Coweta County'' starring Johnny Cash and Andy Griffith. In 1978, Nelson was nominated for an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series on '' Washington: Behind Closed Doors''. Nelson was born in Los Angeles, California. He was married to actress Judi Meredith, who died on April 30, 2014; the couple had two sons. Cameron Mitchell (born Cameron McDowell Mitzell; November 4, 1918 – July 6, 1994) was an American film, television, and stage actor. He began his career on Broadway before entering films in the 1950s, appearing in several major features. Late in his career, he became known for his roles in numerous exploitation films in the 1970s and 1980s. Mitchell began acting on Broadway in the late 1930s before signing a contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and appearing in such films as '' Cass Timberlane'' (1945) and ''Homecoming'' (1948). He subsequently originated the role of Happy Loman in the Broadway production of Arthur Miller's ''Death of a Salesman'' (1949), a role he reprised in the 1951 film adaptation. Felice Orlandi
Felice Orlandi (18 September 1925 – 21 May 2003) was an Italian-born American actor, known for roles in films such as ''The Pusher (film), The Pusher'' (1960), ''Bullitt'' (1968), ''Catch-22 (film), Catch-22'' (1970) and ''The Driver'' (1978). He also appeared in numerous TV series during the 1960s-1980s, including ''Gunsmoke'', ''Mannix'', ''Hogan's Heroes'', ''Hawaii Five-O (1968 TV series), Hawaii Five-O'' and ''Hill Street Blues''. A native of Avezzano in Italy, he was raised in Cleveland, and earned a theater arts degree at Carnegie Tech (now Carnegie Mellon University). Early life Jackson was born in Wendell, Idaho, to Maurita (or Maurite) Kathleen Gilbert and Curtis Loys Jackson, Sr. on February 15, 1942, according the ''LA Times''. Her mother provided drama, singing, and dancing lessons for Sherry and her two brothers, Curtis L. Jackson, Jr., and Gary L. Jackson, beginning in their formative years. After her husband died in 1948, Maurita moved the family from Wendell to Los Angeles, California. Joe Santos (born Joseph John Minieri Jr.; June 9, 1931 – March 18, 2016) was an American film and television actor, best known as Sgt. Dennis Becker (later Lieutenant), the friend of James Garner's character on the NBC crime drama ''The Rockford Files''. Early years Santos was born in Brooklyn on June 9, 1931, the same day his father died. His mother Rose (née Sarno), sold olive oil and eventually became a nightclub owner and singer in New York City and Havana. She later married Puerto Rican-born Daniel Santos, and Joe took his name.
