Rena Vlahopoulou
Irene "Rena" Vlahopoulou (Greek: Ειρήνη (Ρένα) Βλαχοπούλου; 28 July 1917 – 29 July 2004) was a Greeks, Greek actress and singer. She starred in theatre, musical, and Greek cinema productions, including ''The Gambler'' and ''The Countess of Corfu''. Biography Vlahopoulou was born on the island of Corfu, the fifth of nine children. She first began playing the piano, taught by her father, Giannis Vlahopoulos. When she turned ten, she began singing at a local bakery; she was a talented dancer and actress and a qualified mezzo-soprano. Over the course of her fifty-five-year career she appeared in 105 theatrical plays between 1939 and 1994, and twenty-six films between 1951 and 1985. Stefanos Stratigos ( el, Στέφανος Στρατηγός; 1923 – April 6, 2006) was a Greek actor in film and television. Biography He was born in Athens in 1923 and was the son of the actors Vasileios and Amalia Stratigos. His sisters were actors Aleka and Stella Stratigou. He had another sister named Rena. In which they resided early to the theatre and film. He attended the Drama School then known as the Royal Theatre of Greece. Nikos Rizos
Nikos Rizos ( el, Νίκος Ρίζος; 30 September 1924, in Peta – 20 April 1999, in Athens) was a Greek actor. He took part in many Greek comedies in cinema. He and his wife Elsa had one son. Career Rizos began his career with ''Anthropoi, anthropoi'' in 1948 at the Metropolitan Theatre. He founded his own company in 1959 which he co-ran from 1961 with Vasilis Avlonitis and Georgia Vasileiadou. He appeared in various comedies in Greece and Germany, performing for the immigrant Greeks abroad. In 1986, he appeared at the ''Astor'' Theatre on Stadiou Street which he ran from the artistic performance until 1990. Rizos changed and he was a theatrical entrepreneur for 27 years. Periklis Christoforides (1907 – 30 September 1983) was an Ottoman-born Greek film actor. He appeared in more than 120 films between 1929 and 1979. He was born in Trebizond, Ottoman Empire, and died in Thessaloniki, Greece, following a stroke. His body was flown to Athens on the day of his death and buried the next day.
