Ghost
A ghost is the soul or spirit of a dead person or animal that is believed to be able to appear to the living. In ghostlore, descriptions of ghosts vary widely from an invisible presence to translucent or barely visible wispy shapes, to realistic, lifelike forms. The deliberate attempt to contact the spirit of a deceased person is known as necromancy, or in spiritism as a ''séance''. Other terms associated with it are apparition, haunt, phantom, poltergeist, shade, specter or spectre, spirit, spook, wraith, demon, and ghoul. Gaunt's Ghosts
''Gaunt's Ghosts'' is a series of military science fiction novels by Dan Abnett, set in the ''Warhammer 40,000'' universe. It was inspired by the ''Sharpe (novel series), Sharpe'' series of books written by Bernard Cornwell. As of 2019 in literature, 2019, the series spans 16 novels which document the efforts of the Tanith First, a highly skilled yet unappreciated light infantry infantry regiment, regiment of the Imperial Guard (Warhammer 40,000), Imperial Guard, during the Sabbat Worlds Crusade. ''Dead Friend'' (; lit. "The Ghost") is a 2004 South Korean horror film. It is one of a number of South Korean horror films set in high school; the trend began with 1998's ''Whispering Corridors''. Plot Three high school girls are bored and decide to conduct a séance with a ''bunshinsaba'' - a traditional Korean ouija board. As the spirit is called by Eun-jung (Lee Yoon-ji), her sister, Eun-seo (Jeon Hye-bin), scolds the girls. Eun-jung jokingly wishes that the ghost had taken Eun-seo away and that if they do not send the ghost away, it will kill them. Eun-seo is then killed by a ghostly water presence.
